1. Initial Call
All we need to get started is some simple information about your building, and your approximate electricity consumption (this can be as easy as telling us how big your last bill was). Other helpful details include approximate orientation of your roof , roof material, and total square footage of your building. If you have historic electrical usage, you can provide this to us during the initial call, but this is not necessary in order to move forward.
2. Free Site Evaluation
From there we will schedule a time for a system designer to come to your business to perform a site evaluation and consultation. Site evaluations are free of charge and usually take 1 to 2 hours to perform. It is a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about how solar works, the installation process, or any other technical or financial questions you may have. During this visit the system designer will collect information to generate a detailed proposal.

3. Receive Proposal
Shannon’s Green will deliver a proposal to you by email or in person. This proposal will include the initial system design, total cost, and the amount of the rebate and tax credits. Proposals can also include a simulation of your expected electrical usage, cash flow calculations, payback calculations, and projected billing with your new solar power system. Our proposals give you the information you need to determine if solar is a good investment for your business.
4. Sign Contract
When you decide to do the project you will then sign a contract with Shannon’s Green. From here Shannon’s Green takes care of everything. This includes: design, permitting, construction, inspections, utility interconnection, and providing necessary tax information.
5. Installation
Installation can commence once a contract has been signed, and materials have been procured. Commercial installation times vary from 2 to 8 weeks, depending on system size and complexity.
6. Municipal and Utility Inspection
After installation is complete your system will be inspected by the governing municipality and your utility company. Shannon’s Green will schedule and attend all inspections, so you will not need to be in attendance. Following your utility inspection your system will be up and running. Shannon’s Green will provide you with electrical and structural drawings of your new system along with all owner's manuals, warranties, and instructions on how to monitor your system's performance.
